Known for his lively dance tunes, with strong highlife influences, Nigerian music star, Chinedu Flavour Okoli has once again delighted his fans with his latest single, Professor Johnbull.

Flavour Professor Johnbull

Created for the TV Satire series also named Professor Johnbull, this track seeks to reveal the essence and satiric comedy of the series.

Professor Johnbull is a series sponsored by leading telecoms company, Globacom and will star Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, who is the main character in the play. Other Nollywood stars include Patience Mama G Ozokwor, Bimbo Akintola, Mercy Johnson, Yomi Fash Lanso, Ime Bishop, Queen Nwokoye, Chiwetalu Agu and many other Glo Ambassadors.

Born 23rd November, 1983 in Enugu State of Nigeria, Flavour has become a household name in several quarters. A singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and performer, he began his career as a professional drummer before the release of his song Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix) made him one of the most sought after performers on the continent.

Flavour’s Professor Jonhbull has been ruling the airwaves in Nigeria. We listened to it a while ago and found ourselves nodding to the tune. It is fresh, lively and reminiscent of Flavour’s music style. Don’t be surprised if you find that you can’t help shaking your waist a little as you listen to the music.

The lyrics to Professor Johnbull are fun and contain a lot of phrases in pidgin English. We really think Flavour could begin a winning streak with this one, then again it is highlife so we might be a little biased. What do you think though? Listen and let us know…
