Dear God, I lift up my home, that you give us your peace and direction. I thank you for how far you have brought us and the various ways you have blessed us. I lift up all members of my household, asking that you order our steps as individuals and as a family. Thank you for the height you will take us to.

prayer for the family

There is a saying that a man may build a house, but it is the woman who makes the home and today we want to pray for our homes. Let us pray that God’s peace will fill our homes so that it will be an oasis in the midst of the stress and hassles of life. Pray that once people enter your home they will experience God’s blessings.

As you are praying, also pray for all those who enter your home…that if anyone enters with evil intentions, such a person will not be able to remain in your home. Pray for all the corners of your home that no evil will reside in any part of your home. Ask God to place a blanket of protection around your home and keep it safe.

Pray against all those whose mission in life is to destroy your home, that they will not succeed.

Day 3 of our 30 days Prayers for your family is a prayer for the home. You need to stand in the gap on behalf of your home. Take out a few minutes to pray for your home today.

The prayers have been going on for a few days already and if you missed the previous prayers you can find them here and here.
