Mercy Johnson Okojie, Nollywood screen diva was appointed as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Kogi State on entertainment, arts and culture last month- March 14th and the inauguration ceremony for the Actress held on Monday, April 3rd.

Mercy’s husband Prince Odianosen Okojie was there to support his wife as well as her friend and colleague, Queen Nwokoye.

Mercy didn’t leave out her friend Queen Nwokoye who went with her for the inauguration in Kogi state.

That’s Her @queennwokoye, my colleague,sis and friend. She is just always a phone call away. All the way to Lokoja and she went with me. Today was my inauguration and she was there like a sis should. Thanks babe.

Governor Yahya Bello said his administration was determined to go after those who stole from the nation’s treasury in past years and recover such loot.

“We must go after them to recover the looted fund for use of the common people in the state”.
