Marsai Martin is set to be the youngest producer ever in Hollywood.

We know Marsai Martin from the hit ABC comedy series Black-ish. If you haven’t heard of Black-ish (hard to believe, but totally possible) then, you need to fix that. Better yet, let’s help you. Here’s a clip showing Marsai Martin below.

Now that we’ve taken care of your education, here’s what’s amazing.

Who is Marsai Martin?

Marsai Martin is the 14-year-old, who played Diane Johnson in the ABC series. And she is set to release her movie, Little. Thus, defining her place in history as the youngest executive producer in Hollywood.

I’m sure some of you may recall movies like Linsay Lohan’s “Freaky Friday” and Tom Hank’s “Big.” Big was one of Marsai’s favorite movies growing up. So, it isn’t strange that the movie “Little” is said to draw inspiration from that story line.

The movie talks about a no nonsense tech mogul Jordan Sanders played by Regina Hall. Jordan is transformed into her 13-year-old self because of a curse by a little girl. The younger Jordan is played by Marsai Martin.

So yes, we have some “Black Magic” going on here. Jordan has to relieve her younger years. The only person who knows what is happening is her long suffering assistant, played by Issa Rae. She’s the star of the hit series “Insecure.

The movie shows how Jordan alongside her assistant navigate their way through this experience and eventually come out of it. This is a movie that is filled with moral lessons, great acting skills and amazing comedy.

Little is set to be released in April of 2019 and is definitely one to look out for.

Being Bold Pays

At least, that’s the lesson we walk away with, thanks to the incredible Marsai. She boldly pitched her idea to Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish.

The result is a laugh out loud movie from the producers of “Girls Trip” and “Night School”, Will Parker and James Lopez. And also, Kenya Barris.

The movie definitely has some of Hollywood’s great creative minds on it. Marsai is the executive producer along with Regina Hall and Josh Martin.

Marsai Martin is definitely an inspiration to everyone, young or old. It’s never too early to start living your dream.
