Every woman on the planet would love to have their own, personalized wardrobe, full to the brim with fashionable items unique to them. Like their celebrity idols, they want bespoke garments designed by top designers adorning their closet and providing them with a unique look.
Alas, for many, such a wardrobe is little more than a pipe dream. Or is it? It turns out that personalizing your wardrobe isn’t as difficult as you might think. Here are some tips to do just that.

Tip #1: Get Inspiration
Plucking inspiration directly from your imagination is difficult. That’s why professional designers earn so much money. But emulating your favorite stars is a lot easier. You don’t have to copy their look completely: just incorporate part of what they wear into your outfits. Take a look at what people like Mariah Carey or Kylie Minogue wear and adopt some of their style cues for yourself.
Tip #2: Don’t Worry About What Others Think
What you wear is a very personal choice. It shouldn’t be determined by what other people think. You should always be true to yourself. If your friend or somebody you know pulls off a particular look really well, that doesn’t mean that it will necessarily work for you too. Stop trying to be like other people you know. There’s a good chance that they have evolved their look over many years and that’s what works for them. There’s no reason it should work for you too.
Tip #3: Choose Your Signature Colors
Signature colors have been a staple of fashionable women for generations. And it should become a part of your personalized wardrobe too.
Think about which colors suit you the best and naturally complement your complexion and skin tone. Then choose cute tops, dresses, and shoes to match. Try to pick colors that work well together. Black on brown rarely looks good, but black and white go well together, as do black, white and red. Colours that are on the opposite side of the color wheel also work well together, as do bright and dull shades of the same underlying tone.
Once you’ve got multiple items in your signature colors, you’re able to mix and match them as you see fit. Getting dressed in the morning was never easier.
Tip #4: Add Personalisation With Accessories
The great thing about accessories is that you’re allowed to wear just about anything. This means that there are plenty of options for personalization. Suppose, for instance, you’re a big fan of Disney. If so, you can accessorize using Disney jewelry. What if you’re a big lover of surfing? Then you can go with sea-themed jewelry, like shell bracelets and necklaces. Because accessories are so small, they allow you to go a little crazier than you could with your regular outfits.
Tip #5: Find A Tailor
If you’re dressing up for a special occasion, or if you wear some items day in, day out, then you might want to approach a tailor. A tailor can help make sure that your favorite pair of jeans fit perfectly or that the dress you bought for a wedding will look stunning.
