I love Instagram. The way the pictures come together and form a beautiful collage is just inspiring. But even more inspiring, are the African jewelry designers who pay attention to the aesthetics of their page. Aesthetics are really important and bring beauty and clarity to a design.
Since we opened our African Fashion page, Daily African Fashion, on Instagram, we have been inspired by our African people representing on Instagram. Today we want to focus on a few African Jewelry designers on Instagram who you should follow.
Our List of Beautiful African Jewelry on Instagram
#1. NK Jewelry
Nawar Kamal is a jewelry designer from Sudan. She creates pieces that are just stunning. Her design has a distinctively African design with a touch of the East. However, they are all trendy and contemporary. Great for accessorizing almost any outfit.
A graduate of marketing, Nawar Kamal is inspired by her travels and how African arts and culture was not really depicted in Sudan, except in sculptures.
Below are some of her pieces that inspired.
Mama Africa. One of the most popular pieces. Outstanding makeup by: @sulafelamin captured by @makkirashid’s lense. #jewelry #africaninspiredpieces #handmadejewelry

#2: Once Upon a Whimsy
The brain child of Carol Gutierrez, this jewelry line is unique as it is inspiring. I have never seen anything like it. Each piece is a form of whimsy and like she says on her website, no two pieces are alike.
We particularly loved these ones:
