Lemons are versatile fruits, which provide a number of aesthetic benefits; it is not just for consumption alone but can serve a several purposes. It also has antibacterial properties. Below are some beauty benefits of lemons:
Remove Blackheads: slice your lemon into half and rub the juice all over your face, rinse off after about five minutes with cold water.
Lighten Old Acne Scars: soak a cotton ball with a little freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rub it all over your face daily, the scars will fade away with time.
Removes Calluses, Corns, And Warts: place the inside of a lemon overnight on any part of the skin were there are corns, warts and calluses and watch them dry and fall out after a week.
Lighten Your Hair: Mix the juice from four lemons with ΒΌ cup of warm water, put in a spray bottle, and spray it in your hair until its damp, expose your hair to the sun for about 30-60 minutes, (depending on how light you want it) .
Strengthen Nails: Soak your nails in lemon juice for about 10 minutes, rinse with warm water. Do this once a week and watch your nails grow.
Lighten Discolored Armpits and Elbows: rub a cut lemon on armpits or elbows for a period of time to lighten the skin in those areas.
