Game of Thrones Wins Big at 2016 Emmys

TV’s biggest awards show took place Sunday at Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles and there were a couple of regulars and a few surprises.  Game of Thrones winning streak continues as the series wins 12 awards including Outstanding Drama at Sunday’s ceremony. The HBO drama has a total of 38 Emmy wins thereby overshadowing Frasier as the series with the most Emmy wins.

Following not-so-closely behind with 9 Emmys including  (Outstanding Limited Series) is The People Vs O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

 

Tatiana Maslany who plays multiple characters on Orphan Black finally wins Most Outanding Leaad Actress in a Drama Series while  Mr Robot’s Remi Malek wins Outstanding Lead Actor in a drama series
