Gunmen abduct petroleum minister’s 20-year-old cousin
Mr. Bozie Agama, a cousin of the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani-Allison Madueke was abducted by gunmen on Thursday in Yanaka community in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
It was gathered that the abductors came for the victims father Chief Monume, Bozie’s father, but since he was not at home when they came, they had to settle for the 20 year old.
Mr. Asinim Buswatt, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the report saying that “At about 12.30am on Thursday, one Mrs. Maxwell Agama of Yenaka community reported that his son, Joseph Agama, aged 20, was abducted by some unknown gunmen.
He also said the police are working to know the number of the gunmen that carried out the attack.

NECO postpones 2015 common entrance exams
The 2015 National Common Entrance Examinations into secondary schools which was scheduled to take place on the 21st of March has been postponed till April 25.
The Abuja Liaison Officer of the National Examination Council Abdul Mustapha, made this known on Thursday in Abuja.
He said the postponement was necessitated by the anxieties of parents ahead of the general elections rescheduled to hold on March 28 and April 11.
According to him,“The idea of postponement was brought by the ministry and after consultations with the council, we decided to shift it”.

Kidnappers of former NDDC boss demand N30m
The kidnappers of Dominic Oqua a former NDDC boss, who was kidnapped close to his residence in Calabar South LGA on Sunday night are demanding the sum of N30million ransom for his release.
A source in the family whose name was withheld said “Yes, (the kidnappers) have made contact with us and they are demanding a whopping N30million”.

Escaping Boko Haram terrorists slaughter wives
Reorts has it that some Boko Haram insurgents while escaping were said to have been murdering their spouses asking them to wait in heaven for later reunion.
On Wednesday evening, one of the freed captives from Bama told journalists in Maiduguri that many of the insurgents’ wives were killed so that unbelievers would not remarry them.
The source also said that the insurgents told the killed women that “we will not leave anyone of you because if unbelievers marry you when we get to heaven, there is no way we can meet again so we do this so that we can meet in heaven.”
