We may return to militancy, says Asari-Dokubo
Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, a former Niger-Delta militant, says with the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan, he and other militants may be forced to return to the creeks.
He made this known in a statement by his spokesperson, Rex Anighoro, that it was unfair that the minorities were being emasculated by the majority ethnic groups.
He said, “The conditions that advanced the need to embrace the creeks have been sadly re-energised. It is clear that a vicious government who may maim and murder the voice of the so-called minorities may have just been birthed.

Former IG, M.D. Yusuf, Dies at 83
Alhaji Muhammadu Dikko Yusuf, the Former Inspector General of Police (IG) is dead. He died on Wednesday in Abuja at the 83 years.
Yusuf, who served as IG from 1975 to 1979 during the military rules of Generals Murtala Mohammed and Olusegun Obasanjo, died at his Abuja residence after a brief illness. His remains would be buried today in Katsina.

Police Arrest Trader for Shaving Woman’s Pubic Hair
A 35-year-old trader, Ibrahim Adamu, has been arrested by the Benin state police officers for reportedly shaving the pubic hair of a 25-year-old woman Ms. Jumai Jasper without her consent.
The suspect was alleged to have lured the victim into his room last week Tuesday at Aduwawa Community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.
Upon interrogation, Adamu who hails from Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State however admitted shaving the victim’s hair, but denied using it for ritual purpose.
