The Best Red Carpet Looks from the VMAs

We’ve talked about the winners of the VMAs and the most talked about moments at the VMAs (and there were a lot). Now it’s time to devote a little time to the who wore what. Here’s a list of outfits that caught our attention at the award show:

Beyonce

Not particularly impressed by this sheer dress. Ever since Rihanna went nearly naked by wearing her sheer dress with swaravoski crystals to CFDA Awards 2014, we’ve been haunted at every red carpet show with variations of sheer.

Beyonce

Blue Ivy

Beyonce’s daughter like a real life princess in head-to-toe designers. The $10,950 dress by Mischka Aoki, tiara by Lorraine Schwartz and high tops sneakers by Guiseppe Zanotti looks perfect on the 4-year-old. Definitely our best dressed.

Nicki Minaj

Yet another sheer dress (Minaj’s is by Bao Tranchi). But with a figure like that, it’s nearly hard to criticize.

Kimye (Kanye West & Kim Kardashian)

They look like they are about to go have drinks at the club. Kim Kardashian’s look is trying a little too hard to be nonchalant with her sheer off shoulder vintage John Galliano dress and that wet messy hair look.

Swizz Beatz & Alicia Keys

Can’t really say I’m a fan of what Keys is wearing but our girl went bare-faced to the VMAs and that in itself is award worthy.
