It was a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event and the aim was to prepare Nigerian Business women for a future in the business world.

We were at the Port Harcourt event which held on October 29, 2014 at the Golden Tulips Hotel, Port Harcourt GRA and had a full room. It was a day’s training with top female executives from ExxonMobil and each session was power packed and intense. At the end of it, most women there were inspired to take their businesses to new heights. The information passed across was invaluable particularly for anyone who had any desire to do business with multinational companies and at an international level. The women were taught about the necessary certifications they needed in order to compete on a global platform and resources were shared that would make that possible. One recurring theme was connecting women enterprises to global markets, which is not surprising as it is WeConnect International’s tag line.
