It is very embarrassing when you go for an occasion and you constantly have the urge to visit the toilet. Diarrhoea is caused by a bacterial or viral infection, it results to increase in bowel movement and can lead to blood pressure, seizures and heart failure if not treated on time.

Causes of diarrhoea includes:

  1. Food poisoning
  2. Allergic reaction to drugs, food, water
  3. Surgery
  4. Consumption of excess coffee or alcohol
  5. Digestive disorders e.t.c

Symptoms of Diarrhoea:

  1. Vomiting
  2. Headache
  3. Watery Stool
  4. Dehydration
  5. Nausea
  6. Loss of appetite
  7. Dizziness
  8. Increase in bowel movement
  9. Fever
  10. Abdominal cramps

5 Home Remedies:

Below are few out of the lot of home remedies which helps stop diarrhoea.

Salt and Sugar Solution: this is the no 1 therapy for treating diarrhoea, it also called the ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts) Solution. Simply add 6 tsp of sugar and ½ teaspoon of salt in water, stir properly until both ingredients dissolves, then drink.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Blend a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, mix with a glass of warm water and drink before and after meal.

Carrot: Boil about 5 carrots until it is tender, blend the already boiled carrots and drink the extract.

Flour: Simply add two teaspoons of flour in water, stir the solution and drink. Flour is a natural remedy for the treatment of diarrhoea

Lemon: Lemon is very effective for treating diarrhoea. Squeeze some lemon juice in a glass of water and drink. Or you can also add ½  tsp of baking soda to the lemon juice and drink it for effective relieve.
