There are so many productivity tips you can use to make your life more efficient, but none of them are going to work unless you are willing to learn time management. Learning to manage your time is very important especially if you are a Nigerian wife/mum and you have to deal with household chores and everything else.
We all have 24 hours in a day, some people are able to use up theirs effectively, while some can’t get everything done that they had planned to do. Wish you could ask for more hours, right? Well, thanks to Mother Nature, you can’t ask for more hours and thankfully, you don’t really need more hours if you learn to manage your time properly. Here are a few tips to help you manage your time.
Set an Alarm
One major step in time management is starting early, and to achieve this you have to wake up early, hereby setting an alarm. There are things to consider before setting an alarm, you don’t set an alarm on the time that’s convenient for you, you set a goal for the day, and set the alarm time according to that.
Workout
Most people are of the opinion that workouts are done mainly for weight loss, this is very wrong. A good simple workout, not only keeps you fit, it stabilizes the brain.
Drink a lot of Water
Since the brain is mostly water, drinking it helps you focus and concentrate better and be more alert. As an added bonus, your energy levels are boosted.
Eat a Light Breakfast
Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day and it is a good way to start your day with an energy boost. However, if you pile on the food and eat heavy meals, they will become energy sappers, and defeat the aim of eating breakfast in the first place. So pick something light but also filling like an egg-based meal.
Prioritise
It is always good to set your daily task in their order of importance. Setting your priorities for the day is very important. When you break your tasks down, you won’t have a problem of being under pressure to finish your tasks for the day, and might even have extra time on yours hands to do more tasks.
With the following tips, I hope you have a productive day. See you next week.
