As a makeup enthusiast, I am constantly seeking makeup tips/hacks and sometimes, I stumble on a goldmine of tips. Recently, I was actively searching  for  tips to up my makeup game and I came across an article “32 Makeup Tips That Nobody Told You About” on Listotic. A couple of the tips I found there, I hadn’t quite seen elsewhere, some of them I tried, some of them I didn’t. Here’s a couple of tips I found helpful or interesting:

Tip 2. Blush For Your Face Type

This tip basically suggests that everyone should not apply blush the same way. You don’t have to copy the exact method your favorite Youtube makeup blogger used – it may not suit you as much it did her.

Tip 4:  Disguising Under Eye Bags

This tip I found very interesting as I am inadvertently plagued with eye bags.

“It’s best to highlight the crease and then apply a darker shade to the actual puffy area.”

I did try this tip and it didn’t quite turn out the way I hoped. Yes the puffy area was darker but it was still… puffy. If you have eye bags, try this tip and tell us how it goes. If your puffy eyes are gone, we’d like to know how you achieved it.

Tip 8: Make The Best Of Your Eye Shape

To wear eye makeup that suits your face perfectly, this tip advises you apply eyeshadow according to your eye shape. While I’m not entirely an eyeshadow fan, this might prove helpful to you.

Tip 19: The Line Saver

This was the most prized tip I discovered. I did try it and for that day I didn’t look like I was shedding black tears (my eyeliner tends to run askew or play around my face by midday).

To keep your liner behaving, sweep loose or pressed powder right underneath the eyeliner on your bottom lid. It creates somewhat of a barrier, preventing your eyeliner from traveling downward.

Tip 29: Make it last

This is a how to make your lipstick matte tip. We already have a similar post but this is a different spin to it.

“After your lipstick is applied, hold a tissue over your lips and apply powder over the tissue. This creates a matte look that lasts much longer.”

Tip 32: When To Toss It Out

The answer to those burning questions “Does makeup expire”? “When is the right time to toss a particular makeup product”?
