Nigerian music video director, filmmaker, and television director Kemi Adetiba has released a web series titled “King Women” this is in collaboration with Accelerate TV.
“King Women” is a web series by Kemi Adetiba, which is aimed at being an online source of mentor-ship and emotional upliftment to young, impressionable ladies which will feature Nigeria’s powerful women of veteran and champion status, as they tell their stories, like never heard before.
The first episode features veteran actress Taiwo Ajai-Lycett who shares a heart warming story about the love of her life – her late husband Tom Lycett. Although it’s been 21 years since his death, but she talks about him so passionately and adoringly, you would almost think he just passed away.
Taiwo also opened up about her early days, upbringing, becoming a teenage mother as well as getting her first movie role on ‘King Women’.
