Nigerian Teenage Girl Ifeoma White-Thorpe Gets Accepted into 8 Ivy League Schools & Stanford

Ifeoma White-Thorpe, Ivy League schools

Nigerian-American Ifeoma White-Thorpe, has been accepted to all eight Ivy League schools, she has to make a tough decision on which Ivy League school to attend because she has been accepted into all nine of the schools (including Stanford) she applied to.

The 17-year-old girl High-school senior at New Jersey’s Morris Hills High School was accepted by Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Brown and Dartmouth as well as Stanford.

While speaking to WABC Ifeoma said:

“I want to go into global health and study biology and so many of them have great research facilities, so I was like, I might as well just shoot my shot and apply,”

 

While talking to a CNN affiliate WABC-TV, Ijeoma revealed she was shaking when she got the eighth acceptance letter.

“I was like, oh my gosh, oh my gosh, like this might be eight out of eight and I clicked it and it said ‘Congratulations’ and I was like oh my goodness!” .

Ifeoma’s Parent – Andre and Patricia White-Thorpe said:

“We’re leaving it up to her,” since the teenager has said she just doesn’t know yet.
