Nollywood screen diva, Kate Henshaw wants to represent the Calabar municipal Odukpanj federal constituency in the federal house of Representatives, on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) . She recently picked up a nomination form.
This is one of the dividends of democracy, women are now getting more involved in politics and aspiring for political positions. We need more women leaders in Nigeria and we believe this will inspire more women to take bold steps in politics and in the country’s administration as a whole. It is also time for generational shift.
