Gracious and Merciful Father, today I thank You for partnering me with someone special to be my spouse, whom You created. You knew us before we were born and already knew we would be together. You have given us both responsibilities as husband and wife and I trust that, as we walk in faithfulness and unwavering love, You will protect us from the evil forces in this unpredictable world.
Pray that no strange woman takes your place. Ask God for wisdom in all your reactions that you will hold him close to you. Ask God for you to be ever pleasing in your husband’s eyes.
Pray that your spouse will respect you in all his communications with you and with others. Pray for him as he interacts with different people that his love and appreciation for you will only grow.
Pray that no matter your situations that you do not wander in your feelings for anyone other than your spouse. Ask God for wisdom as you interact with others especially if there are issues in your home.
May you not disrespect your husband in the way you refer to him or talk about him.
Reaffirm your vows and know they are important and sacred.
