Gracious God, we know that your love is infinite and that you care about all areas of our life. In this time of economic insecurity in Nigeria, help us to trust that all of our security is in you. Keep us mindful that you always have and always will provide for our needs. Apart from you we can do nothing. We ask that you give our leaders the wisdom to guide our nation and the world out of the current economic crisis. Help us to protect the poor and all those who are struggling during this difficult time. Provide for their needs and give them hope. Amen.
The prayer is a bit longer than usual, but we all know it is necessary.
Pray for the leaders of Nigeria: President, Vice President, Senators, Governors, House of Rep Members, and all in authority at one level or the other. Ask for wisdom, commitment and a desire for true change.
Ask for direction to those advising and making laws on the financial policies and economy. May they see a clear way forward and solutions to the problems that have constantly plagued us as a nation.
Pray for peace in the nation, especially the areas in the North with the Boko Haram threat. Lift up the areas in the south ridden with kidnapping, and the Biafra threat: PEACE is what we need to experience.
Pray for our young people seeking jobs and pray there will be ample job opportunities.
The implication is that if things are not well in this country it affects us all directly or indirectly. Pray for this country!
This 27th day is one of great import as it is for our nation. Other days are available on the website.
