Sexy Footsie! The much coveted weekend is here again. I’m looking to heat things up a little under the sheets (winks) whoever said it has to be under the sheets?! So, this is what I found. Human feet contain more sensory nerve endings than any other part of the body that’s why it’s so so ticklish. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Yeap! It’s a foot massage!! Foot massage is often mentioned as a remedy for many types of foot pain — from sudden cramps to the ongoing aches of pregnancy. But here’s a little secret: You can — and should — massage your feet even when they don’t hurt.
One reason, of course, is just that it feels so good and also makes your feet healthier Its even more interesting when you give the foot massage to that special someone. . Lets get started. Begin by getting your partner comfortable. Sit on the floor with them, in their favourite chair, or on the couch or bed with a pillow placed under their knees. Taking your time is one of the most important things in giving a good massage. Before any foot massage, relax your foot muscles by warming them up. You might prefer a soak in warm water and Epsom salts (for about 15 minutes).
Now you’re ready to begin the massage Spread moisturizing lotion or cream on the sole of the foot or on your hands Stroke your hands forward from the ankle and over the tops of her feet, letting your thumbs curve underneath to hug the balls (part closest to her toes). Using your thumbs, massage the soles in a deep, circular motion. Start at the area just behind your toes and work backward to the heel. Concentrate your efforts on one small area at a time. When you’ve covered the entire sole, turn your foot over and massage the top, still using your thumbs.
Again, work on one spot at a time and cover the whole top of the foot. The instep is a particularly ticklish and sensitive part of the foot, and where many people feel the most muscle tension. Stroke upwards here with alternating thumbs, while still cupping the rest of his foot with your hands. Take note of the folds of your partners sole, and trace them with your fingertips. A very light touch can feel ticklish, so alternate that with a deeper rub. Using your palms to rub the foot’s insteps in circular motions is also good for tension release. After that, it’s time to turn your attention to the toes.
Give each one a slow, gentle tug; massage it by twisting its sides, working from the base of the toe outward. If your hubby isn’t too ticklish, separate his toes with your fingers as if you were clasping hands. A rocking, sliding motion between the toes feels very intimate. After that, gently pull up on each toe with a ringing, twisting stroke, beginning with the smallest and working your way up to the big toe. Now repeat the same procedure on the other foot. Here are some little tricks to spice it up even more
- Pinch along the outside edges of your foot.
- Lightly slap the soles with the back of your hand or gently pound the sole with a relaxed fist; follow this with a stroking motion along the length of the sole.
- Use both hands to twist the foot in opposite directions, wringing it like a sponge.
- You might also try using a cream or rub that contains menthol during your foot massage for that extra-tingling sensation.
