Day 4: Pray for His Senses

I pray for my husband’s senses, that they will not lead him astray. I pray for his eyes; God please give him a strong vision for his life and for our family. I pray for his ears, that he will not hear anything that will cause problems for him. I pray for his mouth that he will speak blessings and with wisdom. Let all that he touches prosper.

The senses are so important to us because it is through them that we are able to perceive the world. Our understanding of what goes on around us is usually as a result of what we have seen, heard, smelt, tasted and felt.

When a man’s senses have been distorted, then he will have a faulty view of the world around him and his understanding will be hampered. This means that he will not know what to do and the right time to do it. He is handicapped.

Pray against this type of handicap on your man. Ask God to guard his senses so that he will see, hear, and feel right. Pray that he will see you and your children in a positive light. Pray that he will not hear any evil about you and your children and that he will only have true feelings of love towards you.
