DAY 27: Pray for His Wife

Dear God, I pray for myself that I will not be a stumbling block to my husband. Teach me how to be the best wife to him. I pray that I will not cause him to sin. Help me to know when to speak and when to keep quiet; how to encourage and how to correct him in love. Give me wisdom dear Lord, to help my husband become all that you want him to be.

There is only one major thing in a man’s life that can completely and totally destroy him and that is marrying the wrong woman. Being the wrong woman does not mean that there is something in their DNA that doesn’t mesh…it just means that the woman has certain qualities and characteristics that can send the man to his destruction.

Qualities and character can change. There is nothing God cannot change. So sisters, it is time to search yourself. If you are in the habit of putting your husband down, ridiculing his dreams, being avaricious and never appreciating anything he does for you, you are slowly but surely leading him to his ruin.

This is not a matter of what HE deserves. This is all about YOU.

Pray that the woman your husband married will not destroy him. If there is anything in you that has been slowly pushing your man away from God or destroying him, ask God to forgive you and to take it away.
