Right, as I was saying, there’s something about that rich woodsy quality it gives to food that just resonates with me. And yeah, in case you haven’t guessed, I am a certified foodie. I love to experiment with different ingredients and I love to eat.

If you are tired of the old and tried (and really yummy) jollof rice and you want to experiment with something similar but different, then you are going to love this Turmeric Rice recipe.

The recipe is from Supermart.ng. Have you heard of them? They are this really super online grocery store that can get you anything you want from any grocery store in Lagos. They deliver too (but only to Lagos).

Well, they are going to be sharing some super yummilicious recipes with us in the coming weeks. I can’t wait to share all their stuff with you – or to try them either. So have fun with this!

Hey, you don’t have to think of jollof rice or fried rice all the time. Turmeric rice is now here for you. Turmeric which is peppery, warm and has a somewhat bitter taste gives this meal a distinct yellow color. The sight of this meal is nothing but mouth-watering.
